Have you ever listened to the news and the first thing to break is about children being kidnapped, abducted, or missing. Children with their ages ranging from 3 yrs and late teens and even higher are taken by force and subjected to horrible things such as sexual molestation, child pornography, child slavery even underground illegal organ harvesting which is leading to children’s death never to be seen again by their parents.

Since these rashes of abduction started years ago I’ve heard so many people say oh that stuff doesn’t happen around here, but it has happened again and again. Has your mind ever wondered about how to help our children’s education, health fitness and safety all at the same time? Well I think about it at all times and I have come to the conclusion that we as a whole have to do something to help our children protect themselves from predators and from health threats such as diabetes, heart disease, and respiratory illnesses mostly caused by lack of physical activity and improper diet which brings on child obesity. We fail to realize sometimes that our children have problems too that make them stressful, anxious, lose focus, self-esteem and confidence.

I am Rev. Lacy Green Jr. a business man in your community a teacher of martial discipline, and Christian morals, a worker with school age kids a veteran of foreign war, an inductee into the Martial Arts Hall Of Fame for life time achievement, but most of all a family man with children right here in Cumberland County.

I would like to help the community more by helping your students fight for their life when it comes to their health, fitness and their overall well being.    

If I can win you over as a partner in their education I believe we can accomplish even greater things. I know that you do things from year to year to raise funds this would be a great fund raiser that can go on month after month after month with great potential. Well this is my proposal.

Right now we would like to increase Public & Private schools funds to help aid the children in this endeavor. Here’s how we can do it.

We are prepared to offer an activity for the student body that will help them with their:

-                     Defense                    -          Focus                    -          Obesity

-                     Fitness                    -          Physical Safety         

-                     Health                    -          discipline                   

-                     Alertness                     -          Respectfulness

-                     Self Control          -          Self Esteem

-                     Attention Span          -          Motivation

The ready for the world program is designed with the children in mind to give them benititual activities that they can enjoy while solving the problem of their defense, self-protection, and fitness. The coarse that we suggest is a collaboration of defense, aerobics, and counsel spanning over a period of 1 hour.

These are the activities

-                     Karate for Kids                    -          Morals and Respect

-                     Break Free Program                    Communication

-                     Defense for Kids                    -          Teeny Weenie Bo

-                     Kick Boxing For Kids                    (Karate Aerobics)

-                     Bully Busting                     -          Boxing Aerobics

-                     Safety Talk                              -          Anti Abduction Talks

The hour will be broken down into Three 20min Phases that will have any combination of three from the above list

Suggestion for combination:

-                     Karate For Kids. Teeny Weenie Bo, Anti Abduction Talks

-                     Defense for Kids, Boxing Aerobics, Safety Talks

-                     Kick Boxing for Kids, Break Free Program, Anti Abduction Talks

-                     Bully Busting Program, Teeny Weenie Bo, Morals and Respect Communication.

These are some of the combinations, which contain one phase to develop a skill for defense 20 minutes of aerobic activity and an educational talk that will help them be more alert for their safety and protection. However any combination you choose can be administered.

            This program is an on going program and after any quarter you can change the combination. This will help the children keep from getting bored and help their motivation to achieve a skill that will help them even in their adulthood.

            We suggest that the program be made available on Friday after school 1 time per week as not to interferer with any of their studies for the price of seven dollars per person enrolled in the program. This is a profit sharing Joint Venture and 50% of the proceeds is given back to the school this is a win, win situation very affordable for the children and the activity can be done indoors or outdoors depending on weather.

            Please let me know if there is enough interest we will do a demo of the programs chosen help with any internal advertisement even children from the church may want to get involved. And if so that would be a plus for the program
